We provide complex energy-saving project implementation for the industry. We provide the comprehensive or partial project management, depending on a client’s preference towards mutual co-operation. If a project is implemented solely by a client, we provide support while elaborating costs estimates, we manage or supervise purchase processes, and moreover, we develop the project as a project supervisor so that an energy-saving result is guaranteed.
i.e. cogeneration, combustion processes automatization, high temperature heat pumps, biomas cogeneration, heat recovery, cooling storage systems, electrical energy storage systems, RES (renewable energy sources) installations
i.e. thermal efficiency improvement, transmission networks, BMS systems
i.e. lighting fixtures, compressed air, electrical drives
process optimisation in industrial sectors, i.e. the food, metallurgical and chemical sector
Having implemented an energy source which works in highly efficient cogeneration powered by biomas waste, the energy consumption was reduced by approximately 48 500 MWh. It resulted in annual average savings of approximately PLN 19 billion with the initial investment of about PLN 73 million. The payback period was almost 4 years long.
An automated boiler house allowed discharge losses to be reduced and boilers efficiency to be improved. Such a modernisation made it possible to reduce the annual energy consumption by 13 GWh. It resulted in generating savings of PLN 700 thousand annually with the initial investment of less than PLN 1.2 million. The payback period was shorter than 2 years.
While recovering compressed air in a process unit, the amount of produced air was reduced by 29.5%. Such a modernisation made it possible to reduce the annual energy consumption by 713 MWh. It resulted in generating savings of PLN 115 thousand annually with the initial investment of less than PLN 200 thousand. The payback period was shorter than 2 years.
Energy losses were reduced due to the reduction and cooling station being replaced with a steam turbine equipped with a generator. The project led to savings of more than 87 GWh/year which generated average annual savings of PLN 6.7 million with the initial investment of approximately PLN 30 million. The payback period was almost 4.5 years long.
Heat from a tunnel kiln was recovered and applied to heat up carts before loading them into the kiln. The consumption of gas used by the burners was reduced. Such a modernisation made it possible to save over 4 GWh of energy annually which led to savings of PLN 655.6 thousand with the initial investment of PLN 1.3 million. The payback period was approximately 18 months long.
Satisfying energy-saving results were achieved due to the modernisation of process installations which operate with an electrolyte evaporator. A new blower station was built-up and placed in the vicinity of existing evaporators. It reduced the energy consumption by approximately 7.82 GWh annually which led to savings of PLN 1.9 million with the initial investment of about PLN 1.1 million. The payback period was shorter than one year.

In 2014 the R&D department started to work in our company. We design solutions to improve energy efficiency in industry.
On 22 June 2016, DB Energy signed an agreement with the National Centre for Research and Development to co-finance R&D work for a project called "Development of an innovative drive diagnostics system (DiagSys) based on electrical signal measurements characteristic of mechanical damage to rotating machine components, together with a specialized analyzer of machine operating status and efficiency (APPS 3)".
The project is financed under the Intelligent Development Operational Programme 2014-2020, under sub-measure 1.1.1. "Industrial research and development work carried out by enterprises". No. of the competition: 1/1.1.1/2015. Value of the project 5 974 021.85 PLN. Value of co-financing 3,727,676.11 PLN.
The aim is to develop a system for the diagnosis of rotating machines (DiagSys system), which will be based on the use of power measurements and on-line access to an expert database.
